LIVE MONARCH BUTTERFLIES

Shipping is in addition to the price per dozen. For their safety and well-being, butterflies are shipped FedEx Priority Overnight. Your butterflies will arrive one day prior to your event in most cases. We charge a flat fee of $45 for weekday delivery and $60 for Saturday delivery. Because packages cannot be shipped FedEx Priority Overnight on Sunday, please be aware that delivery is not available on Monday or any day following a major holiday. Please note that Tuesday releases are shipped Monday for a Tuesday morning delivery. Local hand delivery is available in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, for a $20 fee.

*PROVIDE YOUR BUTTERFLY RELEASE DATE - Monarch butterflies are available from June through October. Butterflies are raised specifically for your event. We request a minimum of four weeks to fill orders. For rush orders, please contact us for availability and pricing.

Typically, butterflies are released one of two ways: individually or in mass. During an individual butterfly release, individually packaged butterflies are distributed to guests within small boxes for release at a designated time. With a mass butterfly release, anywhere from one to eight dozen butterflies are released from a decorative box or boxes at a designated time.

If you are having an individual release, your butterflies will be packaged in individual boxes secured with a clear band. You may personalize your boxes with a clear, oval label with up to two lines of text for an additional fee of $.25 per box.

If you are having a mass release, your butterflies will be packaged in individual glassine envelopes to facilitate ease of transfer to a mass release box. Mass release boxes are not included.

*USDA REQUIREMENTS - Butterfly release is NOT taking place in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. I meet the USDA Requirements for receipt of shipped monarch butterflies.
